Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The go-e Charger PRO suits buyers who value a full datasheet and connectivity options. go-e publishes what most rivals leave out: 20 mA AC and 6 mA DC residual-current detection with an upstream RCD Type A 30 mA required, an MID Class B meter, OCPP 1.6J, Wi-Fi, LTE Cat-1, Ethernet and RFID, IP66 and IK08, an operating range of −25 to +40 °C, 18.6 × 29.7 × 9.9 cm, 5.1 kg, a 6 m cable, 3.5 W standby and a three-year warranty. ISO 15118 is described as hardware-ready, not active.
The MID meter makes it usable for transparent consumption records, but go-e states that only the separate PRO ME variant is Eichrecht-compliant; The Mobility House lists that at €1,299 versus €1,099 for this model.
What is missing: we found no independent test of the PRO itself. ADAC's 2022 test winner was the older go-e HOMEfix (1.8), which says something about the brand but not about this hardware. At €1,099 it is also one of the dearer 11 kW boxes, and the price does not include the Type A RCD you still need upstream.

Component scores
Where the score
comes from.
Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.
What we liked

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the go-e Charger PRO and PRO ME?
go-e states that only the PRO ME is Eichrecht-compliant; the standard PRO has an MID Class B meter. The Mobility House lists them at €1,299 and €1,099.
Which RCD must be installed in front of the PRO?
go-e’s datasheet specifies an upstream RCD Type A, 30 mA; the charger itself detects 6 mA DC.
