What we publish, and what it is not
We publish comparative analyses and rankings of consumer products and services. Every ranking follows the published methodology: an analysis of composition and specification, verification of the manufacturer's claims against available studies, a review of verified owner feedback, and an assessment of price against what the product delivers.
The BPR score is an editorial assessment: our opinion, formed under a procedure declared in advance. It is not a certification, a conformity assessment, a test certificate under any EU harmonised standard, or a statement of fact about a product's quality. Scores are comparable only within one category and one ranking.
The content is informational. It is not a binding offer, and it is not professional, medical, legal, financial or investment advice. Prices, availability and specifications change; the information given by the seller at the moment of purchase always governs.
3
How rankings are ordered — transparency of parameters
Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices, as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/2161, requires anyone who ranks products to disclose the main parameters that determine the order and their relative weight. Ours are:
- composition and specification,
- evidence and studies,
- owner feedback,
- cost against what the product delivers.
The four carry equal weight. The overall score is their arithmetic mean on a 0–10 scale, and the ranking order follows that score. The full procedure, including how each component is evidenced, is in the methodology.
No payment influences placement. No brand can buy a position, a score, or a mention. Where a product appears because of a paid arrangement, that would have to be disclosed as advertising under the same directive — and we do not enter into such arrangements at all.
Consumer reviews we cite are verified as described in the methodology; we do not publish reviews we have reason to believe are not genuine.
4
Affiliate links
Some links to shops are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the seller may pay us a commission. The price you pay is not affected. Such links are marked and explained on the affiliate links page, in line with the disclosure duties in Directive 2005/29/EC.
Commission rates play no part in the score or the order of a ranking — see independence.
5
Using the site
You may use the site for your own purposes, including commercial ones, provided you do not:
- interfere with how the site works or attempt to bypass its security,
- extract or re-utilise substantial parts of our results database, including by automated collection at a scale that burdens the servers,
- republish whole rankings or results tables without our permission,
- use the content so as to suggest that we have certified, recommended or endorsed a brand.
Technical requirements: any current browser with JavaScript enabled and an internet connection. We require no registration and offer no paid services to readers.

Intellectual property
The text, images, analysis results, layout and code are protected under Directive 2001/29/EC and Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the digital single market. The structured collection of our ranking results is additionally protected as a database under Directive 96/9/EC, including the sui generis right against extraction and re-utilisation of substantial parts.
Rights belong to HAGENN POLSKA Sp. z o. o. or are used with the rightsholder's permission. Quotation is permitted with attribution and a working link, within the limits of the exceptions in Article 5 of Directive 2001/29/EC. Anything beyond that needs our written permission: contact@bestproductranking.com.
Trade marks, product names and logos belong to their owners and are used for identification and comparison, which comparative advertising rules under Directive 2006/114/EC permit.
7
Liability
We prepare every analysis with care and name the sources it rests on. We are nevertheless not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the content, nor for the consequences of using a product, to the extent that liability may lawfully be excluded.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory EU or national law — including consumer rights, which remain unaffected.
We do not control the external sites we link to and are not responsible for their content or their data practices.
8
Complaints, corrections and dispute resolution
Errors, corrections, right-of-reply requests and complaints go to contact@bestproductranking.com. Give the page address, the passage in question and what should be corrected.
We confirm receipt and answer within 14 days. Where a claim proves justified we correct the content and record the correction with the ranking; where it does not, we explain why.
Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution through an entity notified under Directive 2013/11/EU on alternative dispute resolution. We are not obliged to use, and have not committed to, any particular ADR entity; taking part is voluntary for both sides.
The European Commission's ODR platform is no longer available — it ceased operating on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. Consumers with a cross-border problem inside the EU can instead turn to the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) in their own country, which advises free of charge.

Personal data and cookies
The controller of personal data is HAGENN POLSKA Sp. z o. o. What we process, on what legal basis under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and for how long is set out in the privacy policy. Cookies and consent under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC are covered in the cookie policy, where you can change your choice at any moment.
10
Changes
We may amend these terms — when the law changes, or when the site gains new functions. The current version is always published here with the date of the last update shown above, and takes effect on publication. Because the site requires no account and concludes no contract with readers, an amendment does not affect use that has already taken place.
11
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the provider's seat — an EU Member State — together with directly applicable EU law. Under Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), this choice cannot deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
Under Articles 17–19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis), a consumer may bring proceedings against us in the courts of their own country of domicile, and may be sued only there.
