Review

What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

Xtorm is a Dutch accessories brand, and the FS5201 is a conservative 20,000 mAh bank aimed at phones and tablets rather than laptops. Coolblue lists two USB-C ports, each 35 W with USB Power Delivery 3.0 and usable as input or output, plus a USB-A port at 18 W with Quick Charge 3.0. The total output is 35 W.

Its strongest card is owner feedback: 8.9 out of 10 from 51 reviews on Coolblue, with sub-scores of 9.3 for capacity and 9.3 for build quality. That is the broadest review base we saw for any non-Samsung model here. Weight is 400 g and size 14.3 × 7.7 × 2.8 cm; a display shows remaining charge as a percentage.

The price in the Coolblue category listing was €64.00, which is high for 35 W when the Samsung offers 45 W for about half that.

What is missing: Xtorm's own website returned an empty page to our fetch, so the data here is Coolblue's. No watt-hour figure, no rated capacity at 5 V and no PPS statement were shown. 35 W is too little for most laptops. We found no independent lab test.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification6.8

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies5.0

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback8.5

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value7.2

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.
