Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
Strong on the practical specifications, weak on the one independent result we could find.
The bin is 0.9 litres — nearly double the Miele's and the Samsung's 0.5 litres, and the largest in this ranking. On a cordless machine that matters more than it sounds: a small bin means emptying mid-clean, which is exactly when a short runtime becomes irritating.
Rowenta publishes 70 minutes maximum and 10 minutes on boost — both figures, which puts it in the honest half of this field alongside Bosch, LG and Miele. The battery is removable, noise is 84 dB(A), and the tool set covers a motorised floor brush, a mini turbo brush, crevice, upholstery and a soft dusting brush.
The filtration claim is HEPA 15 at 99.9995%, which is an EPA/HEPA-grade nomenclature figure rather than a bare percentage — better than Philips's "triple filter system" but less clearly referenced than Miele's EN 1822-1:2019.
The problem is the test result. Stiftung Warentest reportedly graded it "Ausreichend" — adequate — in issue 02/2024, at a test price of €550. That is a weak result for a premium-priced machine, and it is the second-worst outcome in this ranking after the Dyson Gen5detect.
We must be clear about how firm that is. The grade comes from secondary reporting via guenstiger.de and Notebookcheck, not from test.de directly, and we could not read the underlying assessment or see which criteria dragged it down. Verify before relying on it — but do not ignore it either.
At €374.90 the current street price is well below the €550 Stiftung Warentest quoted at test time.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does bin size matter?
More on a cordless machine than a corded one. A 0.5 litre bin fills quickly on a carpeted floor or with pet hair, and emptying mid-clean while the battery is draining is the specific annoyance that makes people abandon a machine. At 0.9 litres this holds nearly twice what most rivals do. It is a genuinely useful specification that almost never features in marketing.
Should the 'Ausreichend' grade put me off?
It should make you check it. The grade reaches us through Notebookcheck and guenstiger.de rather than from test.de, and we could not read which criteria produced it — Stiftung Warentest assesses cleaning on carpet and hard floors, handling, battery, durability and noise, and a weak result in one area can pull the whole grade down. A €4.90 unlock at test.de would settle it. For a €375 purchase, that is worth spending.
