What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

Good value, and the machine that makes this guide's central point better than any argument could.

LG publishes 60 minutes on the lowest setting and 6 minutes at maximum. That is a 10:1 ratio between the headline figure and the real one — and LG deserves credit for printing both, because most brands print only the first.

Six minutes is genuinely short. It cleans a rug or a stair run, not a floor. In practice you will use the medium setting for almost everything, which is true of every machine here — but this one makes the arithmetic unavoidable.

The rest of the specification is solid for the money: a 220 W motor, a removable battery, 5-layer HEPA filtration, 2.6 kg — the lightest machine in this ranking — and 83 dB(A). testberichte.de ran its own test on 29 April 2025 and scored it 1.6, though the page title shows 1.7 and we could not resolve which is correct.

One specification conflict. Bin capacity is quoted as both 440 ml and 1.05 litres. The larger figure is almost certainly the tower or dock rather than the on-board bin. Assume 440 ml for the machine itself.

At €260–289 this is the cheapest machine here with a removable battery and a stated HEPA filtration layer count, and at 2.6 kg it is the easiest to carry up stairs.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification7.4

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies8.0

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback8.2

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value9.2

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is a 6-minute maximum runtime a dealbreaker?

Not necessarily, because almost nobody vacuums an entire house on maximum. What it tells you is the size of the gap between the marketing figure and the reality — 10:1 here. The useful question is whether the medium setting picks up adequately, which is where the machine actually operates. LG's willingness to publish 6 minutes is a point in its favour, not against it; the brands that publish nothing are the ones to worry about.

Principles

The manufacturer makes claims.
We check what the evidence says.

Every ranking follows the same protocol: an analysis of composition and specification, verification of claims against available studies, a review of verified owner feedback, and an assessment of price against what the product delivers.
