The Ohme Home Pro MID suits drivers on dynamic electricity tariffs who want automatic cheap-hour charging and an MID meter. Ohme's German page lists 11 kW/16 A, 3P+N+PE, a 5 m Type 2 cable with 8 m as an option, an MID-compliant meter, a 3G/4G multi-network SIM, OCPP and Modbus TCP, integrated PV-surplus charging, §14a compliance, IP55, 170 × 200 × 100 mm, 4 kg and a three-year warranty. The Mobility House sells the 8 m HP8 MID version at €749 (reduced from €959) and lists OCPP 1.6 and “Solar Boost”.
The gap matters for this ranking: neither page states 6 mA DC detection or the RCD type required upstream, so whether a Type A RCD is enough cannot be judged from published data. There is no Wi-Fi or LAN in the listings we saw, only mobile data.
We found no independent test of the EU Home Pro. Ohme's UK site mentions an industry award, but that model is a 7.4 kW single-phase charger and not comparable.
