What this product is

NordVPN suits buyers who want a large mainstream service with a long audit history and accept higher renewal costs. The two-year Basic plan was USD 3.49 a month, USD 94.23 for the first 27 months, then USD 139.08 a year, with VAT possibly added — about EUR 3.11, EUR 83.95 and EUR 123.90 at the ECB rate of 2 October 2026. The 1-year plan was USD 65.88 and the monthly plan USD 14.99. Ten devices are allowed and refunds run for 30 days.
The audit chain is long: PwC in 2018 and 2020, and Deloitte Audit Lithuania under ISAE 3000, with the fifth Deloitte engagement covering 18 November to 20 December 2024; NordVPN counts six no-logs audits in all. However, that report is available only after logging into a Nord Account, so it is not publicly verifiable in the way Mullvad's, PIA's or ExpressVPN's are, and there is no newer no-logs report on the pages we opened.
NordVPN is owned by Nord Security, headquartered in Lithuania, while the service itself operates under Panama jurisdiction. Trustpilot shows 4.2 from 50,628 reviews; the recurring complaint is billing, including renewals charged earlier than expected.
