Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
Miele publishes the full label for the WQ 1000 WPS Nova Edition: class A, 49 kWh per 100 cycles, 50 litres per cycle, 70 dB(A) in noise class A and 229 minutes for Eco 40-60. It is the only machine in this ranking with spin-drying class A, which means under 45 % residual moisture, helped by 1,600 rpm. That matters if you tumble-dry. At 91 kg it is also the heaviest.
The equipment list is the longest: TwinDos automatic dosing, for which Miele claims up to 40 % detergent saving, PowerWash, a 49-minute QuickPowerWash, SteamCare, the Waterproof system and Wi-Fi. Miele says the machine is tested for the equivalent of 20 years, up to 10,000 operating hours, and its page states a 25-year motor warranty. These are manufacturer statements.
We found no independent test of this model. Stiftung Warentest's 11/2025 batch included a different Miele, the 8 kg WWB380 WPS 125 Edition, whose grade we could not see. Owner feedback is 4.3 stars from 14 reviews on Miele's site. Miele lists €2,259; testberichte.de showed €1,979. On the label programme it uses as much energy as a €390 Beko, so the premium buys spin performance, dosing and build claims, not lower bills.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is the Miele worth five times the price of a Beko?
Not on running costs: both declare 49 kWh per 100 cycles. The Miele adds a class A spin, automatic dosing, lower noise and the manufacturer's 20-year test claim. Whether that pays off depends on how long it actually lasts, which no independent test of this model shows.
What does "tested for 20 years" guarantee?
Nothing in legal terms. Miele states the machine is tested for up to 10,000 operating hours. The legal guarantee is two years; Miele's page additionally states a 25-year motor warranty.
