Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The WGB244071 is the machine in this ranking with the fewest open questions. Bosch's data sheet gives every label value: class A, 49 kWh per 100 cycles, 46 litres per cycle, spin class B, 69 dB(A) in noise class A and 3:39 h for Eco 40-60 — the shortest label programme here, together with its Siemens twin.
Stiftung Warentest graded it 1.7 in issue 11/2025, sharing first place among 14 front-loaders. Bosch quotes the sub-grades: washing 1.8, durability 1.0, handling 2.2, environmental properties 2.1 and protection against water damage 1.2. Owner feedback is positive but thin: 4.8 stars from 20 reviews on Bosch's site and 4.7 from 25 on Amazon.de, with no rating below four stars.
It suits buyers who want a tested, quiet machine and will keep it long enough to justify the price. The energy figure is ordinary: at 49 kWh it uses a quarter more on the label programme than the LG. Bosch lists €1,019 in its own shop; we saw €869 at German retailers. The data sheet we opened does not mention automatic dosing, so do not assume it.
