Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The iQ700 WG44B2071 mirrors the Bosch Serie 8 on the data sheet: class A, 49 kWh per 100 cycles, 46 litres, spin class B, 69 dB(A) in noise class A, 3:39 h for Eco 40-60 and 82.6 kg. Siemens lists aquaStop with a lifetime water-damage guarantee, Home Connect, a steam option, smartFinish against creasing and a 10-year motor warranty.
Stiftung Warentest graded it 1.7 in issue 11/2025, joint first. Siemens quotes washing 1.9, durability 1.0, handling 2.2, environmental properties 2.1 and protection against water damage 1.2 — one tenth behind the Bosch in washing, identical otherwise.
The difference is price and feedback. Siemens lists €1,109; we saw €964 in Germany, about €95 above the Bosch. Owner ratings are thinner and more mixed: 4.2 stars from 10 reviews on Siemens' site and 4.2 from 24 on Amazon.de, where 8 % gave one star. It suits buyers who prefer the Siemens interface or find it discounted below the Bosch. On the numbers alone there is no reason to pay more for it.
