Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The budget choice, and a defensible one. In 205/55 R16 91H the label shown by reifen.com is C / B / 72 dB (class B), EPREL 446839 — the same rolling-resistance and wet-grip classes as the Continental, Bridgestone and Michelin CrossClimate 2, at roughly half the price of the Michelin. It carries 3PMSF and M+S. reifen.com shows 4.58/5 from 124 reviews.
The test evidence needs a caveat. ADAC's 2024 205/55 R16 test included the Kumho Solus 4S HA32+ — a "plus" variant — which scored 2.8 (driving safety 3.0, environment 2.3), level with the Vredestein. We found no independent result for the plain HA32 that is sold here in 91H, so that grade cannot be transferred to it with certainty.
What is missing: Kumho's UK site refused the connection, so there are no manufacturer claims here. At 72 dB it is one of the louder tyres in the list. For drivers with modest annual mileage who want a 3PMSF tyre without paying a premium, it is the obvious starting point.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does ADAC's 2.8 apply to this tyre?
Not directly. ADAC tested the Solus 4S HA32+ in 205/55 R16 in 2024. The model priced here is listed as Solus 4S HA32 91H, and we found no separate test for it.
Is a budget all-season tyre legal for winter driving?
Yes, if it carries the 3PMSF symbol, which this one does. That symbol is what German law refers to for winter conditions and it is also accepted in Austria.
