Hydro Protect is Eucerin's lightest face fluid and suits normal to combination skin in heat, where heavier creams pill or feel greasy. The manufacturer reports a two-week use test with 160 people aged 18–40: 99% said it spread easily, 98% that it suited hot and humid climates, 97% liked the skin feel, 97% found it suitable for their skin type and 96% saw no sticky residue. Those are perception figures from Eucerin, not independent measurements.
Unlike Oil Control, Sensitive Protect and Photoaging Control, this fluid has a light fragrance, which Eucerin states openly. The page we opened shows neither the INCI nor the names of the UV filters — only a reference to 'Advanced Spectral Technology' and UVA/UVB filters — and there is no UVA-PF figure. We found no independent test result. At 17.00 euros for 50 ml on notino.de (34 euros per 100 ml) it is the most expensive Eucerin here. Owners rate it highly: 4.9/5 from 255 reviews on eucerin.de.
