Bauknecht's page for the B6R 98 SILENCE DE states class A, 40 kWh per 100 cycles and 45 litres per cycle — the lowest water figure in this ranking — with spin class B, 1,400 rpm and 72 dB(A). The page also advertises under 60 dB with its quiet option, a direct-drive motor, steam hygiene and steam refresh functions and a 10-year spare-parts guarantee. It is the second-deepest machine here at 643 mm and weighs 80 kg.
Two label values are missing from what we could read on the manufacturer page: the noise class and the Eco 40-60 duration. testberichte.de gives class A and 225 minutes; treat both as second-hand.
We found no independent test of this model. Its 8 kg sibling, the B6R 88E SILENCE DE, was in Stiftung Warentest's issue 11/2025, but we could not see the grade and do not transfer it. Owner feedback is substantial: 4.2 stars from 281 Amazon.de reviews, with 70 % five-star and 10 % one-star ratings. It suits buyers who put low energy and water figures first and accept untested durability; we saw €429 at Saturn and MediaMarkt.

Frequently asked questions
How quiet is the "Silence" model really?
The declared spin noise is 72 dB(A), the same as the LG and the Samsung and 3 dB above the Bosch Serie 8. Bauknecht advertises under 60 dB when spinning with its quiet option, which is not the label condition.
What does the 10-year spare-parts guarantee add?
EU Regulation 2019/2023 already requires spare parts to be available for at least 10 years after the last unit is placed on the market. We did not see terms on Bauknecht's page that go beyond that.
