Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The Polar Vantage M3 suits runners who want a smaller dual-frequency watch with maps and no subscription. Polar's page lists dual-frequency GPS across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS, 27 hours in Performance training mode, 90 hours in Eco mode, 8 days in watch mode, a 1.28-inch always-on AMOLED (416 × 416), 53 g in total (35 g without wristband), WR50, offline maps and komoot turn-by-turn guidance. Polar Flow is described as 100% free with no hidden fees.
Polar does not say on that page whether the 27-hour figure uses dual-frequency, and the5krunner's October 2024 review quoted up to 30 hours for the same mode, so we take the lower, current manufacturer figure. The review scored the watch 86%, praising the display and battery, but found GPS less smooth under trees and, near tall buildings, apparently fooled by reflections despite dual-frequency. Optical heart rate was its main criticism: failures during intervals and cycling. It also lists no map re-routing and no POI data.
Polar's temperature feature carries the note that it is not intended for medical purposes. The €322.41 price is a Dutch retailer listing we saw; Polar's own list price is €399.90. No software-support period is published.
