Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The COROS PACE 4 is for runners who want long GPS endurance and low weight for the least money. COROS's product page states 41 GPS hours in its high (all-systems) mode, 19 days of daily training and sleep, a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen and 32 g with the nylon band (40 g with silicone). The5krunner's spec sheet adds 31 hours in dual-frequency (max) mode, 24 hours with always-on display, 5 ATM and a November 2025 release.
Maps arrived later: the5krunner reports that offline maps with street and trail names were added by firmware in September 2026 on 4 GB of storage. The same site points out that every current Garmin Forerunner below the Forerunner 970 (€689.99 in the Dutch listing we saw) shows only a breadcrumb line, which makes the PACE 4 the cheapest watch in this list with full on-watch maps.
Evidence is thinner than for the top two. The5krunner names the PACE 4 its best budget running watch (guide updated August 2026), but we did not see a published accuracy test of its GPS or optical heart rate. Music is unclear: COROS's page talks about media controls, while the5krunner's spec sheet lists offline playback to Bluetooth headphones with no streaming. No NFC or update commitment is mentioned. The €269 price is COROS's EU launch price per the5krunner and the lowest Dutch listing we saw.
