Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The EP2331/10 suits buyers who want one-touch milk drinks for well under 400 euros and intend to clean the machine themselves. The specification listed on Geizhals is complete for the price: ceramic grinder with 12 settings, 15 bar pump, 1.8 litre tank, 275 g bean container, removable brew group, 1450 W, 247 x 366 x 434 mm and 8 kg, with three temperature levels, a ground-coffee bypass and a spout adjustable from 85 to 145 mm. LatteGo is a milk container that froths without hoses, which leaves less to rinse than a hose system.
The lowest price we saw was 349 euros (Galaxus via Geizhals; testsieger.de showed the same at MediaMarkt). Geizhals shows 4.6 out of 5 from 135 ratings; testsieger.de summarises the same owners as praising easy cleaning and criticising operating noise and the size of the footprint.
The evidence is weaker than the specification. testsieger.de lists the EP2331/10 among the machines in Stiftung Warentest's 12/2025 test, but the grade is behind the paywall and we did not see it, so the test score here is deliberately modest. Philips' own German product page returned no specification content when we opened it, so the data above is retailer-listed, not read from the manufacturer. No noise figure in decibels is published.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How is the LatteGo milk system cleaned?
LatteGo is a milk container that works without hoses, so there is no milk tube to flush. Owner summaries on testsieger.de name easy cleaning as the machine's main strength.
What did Stiftung Warentest say about the EP2331/10?
testsieger.de lists it among the machines tested for issue 12/2025, but the grade is only available after payment on test.de and we did not see it. We therefore do not quote one.
