The Evidence EA897B is here for one reason: Krups is the only maker in this ranking whose product page advertised a repairability period in years — '15 Jahre Reparierbarkeit' — when we first opened it, alongside a housing made of 62 % recycled plastic and a claim of 90 % recyclability. For buyers who rank spare-part availability above the test table, that is a relevant promise, although it is a manufacturer statement and not a legal guarantee we could examine.
Krups' German store listed the machine at 499.99 euros with a one-touch cappuccino function and programmes including espresso, ristretto, cappuccino and latte macchiato. The category page showed 4.6 out of 5 from 384 reviews, one of the larger owner pools in this ranking.
