What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The budget entry, and a genuinely well-equipped one for €149 — with two specifications that limit it.
It weighs 7.9 kg, the heaviest here, and it folds to 54.5 × 51 × 31.5 cm without the safety bar, or 76 × 51.5 × 31.5 cm with it. Neither figure fits any cabin template.
What €149 buys is a longer feature list than the price suggests: an automatic one-hand fold, a smooth continuous recline from seated to lying position, a two-stage footrest, PU wheels with 360° front swivel, and a UPF 50+ canopy that is waterproof with a ventilation panel and an integrated insect screen — the only one here with that. Maximum child weight is 22 kg in the seat and 25 kg total including the basket, from birth to about four years.
The basket is 3 kg, the smallest in this ranking — against 10 kg on the Stokke and 8 kg on the Bugaboo. On a stroller you would use as a daily pushchair rather than a travel one, that is a real constraint.
It was in the Stiftung Warentest March 2024 field of twelve. It was not among the three rated "gut" and not among the five rated "mangelhaft" on harmful substances — so it fell in the middle group. We could not obtain its numeric grade, which is paywalled. That is a meaningful gap given that five of twelve models in that test failed outright on chemistry.
The price is volatile. Kinderkraft's own site shows €149; some retailers list €219–269. Buy direct.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is a €149 stroller safe?
Price was no guide at all in the only relevant test data. In Stiftung Warentest's March 2024 round, the five models rated "mangelhaft" on harmful substances cost between €150 and €350, and the failures included a €350 stroller. This one was in the field and was neither in the top three nor among the five failures — but we could not obtain its numeric grade, which is paywalled at €4.90. For a purchase involving a child's daily contact with fabric, that unlock is worth spending.
