Review

What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is for runners who want premium materials and long battery at a lower price than Garmin's map-equipped watches. Amazfit's EU page lists dual-band GNSS on six satellite systems, up to 31 hours in Accurate GPS mode, 69 hours in Power Saving GPS, 99 hours in Extended mode, up to 20 days of typical use, a 1.32-inch sapphire-covered AMOLED at up to 3,000 nits, 45.6 g without strap, 5 ATM, offline maps with turn-by-turn and rerouting, and 32 GB of storage. Amazfit states plainly that the product and the Zepp app are not medical devices.

The5krunner's May 2026 review is less flattering on accuracy. In its standard 10-mile test the watch scored 73%, against 90% for the Huawei GT Runner 2, broadly accurate for everyday running but behind the best dual-frequency rivals in urban conditions. Optical heart rate was within 1 bpm on steady runs, 6 bpm low on the bike and 3 bpm high in the pool. On-watch rerouting did not work in testing. Overall score 85%, with the reviewer calling it overpriced at launch.

€419.99 is the lowest Dutch listing we saw (launch €449). Amazfit publishes no update period.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification8.0

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies6.0

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback6.5

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value6.3

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.
