What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The Liberty 5 suits buyers who put runtime and price ahead of the deepest noise cancelling. soundcore's EU page states 8 hours with ANC on and 32 hours with the case, 12 and 48 hours with ANC off, and a fast charge of 10 minutes for 5 hours, without saying in which mode. It lists Bluetooth 5.4, LDAC, IP55, 9.2 mm drivers and 4.6 g, described as the weight without the case.
SoundGuys scores the pair 7.9 out of 10 and 7.6 for noise cancelling, which it says beats 38% of the wireless earbuds it has tested. Its sound-quality rating is 4.7 out of 5. The listed drawbacks are mediocre ANC and an emphasis on bass and treble. We saw no separately measured battery figure, only the 8 hours also claimed by the maker.
What is missing: wireless charging is not mentioned on the page, LDAC is the only codec named there (SoundGuys lists SBC, AAC and LDAC), and LC3 does not appear. The owner sample on soundcore's EU page is tiny: nine reviews, five with five stars, two with four and two with one.
