Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
This suits a curious buyer who wants to try a high-dose water-based L-ascorbic acid serum for the price of a coffee and accepts the risks. The Notino.de listing names 20% vitamin C; ascorbic acid is second in a short INCI list, followed by potassium hydroxide (a pH adjuster), propylene glycol, aloe leaf extract, green tea leaf extract, phenoxyethanol, a solubiliser, xanthan gum and disodium EDTA.
Twenty percent is at the top of the 10–20% range the 2017 Al-Niaimi and Chiang review describes as optimal. However, nothing here addresses stability beyond a chelating agent: there is no tocopherol, no ferulic acid, and no published pH, which matters because the same review links the stability and penetration of L-ascorbic acid to a pH below 3.5. Expect oxidation (yellowing to brown) to be the limiting factor in a water-based solution like this.
We could not open a Revox B77 manufacturer page, so composition and price come from Notino.de, which showed €6.10 (regular from €6.50). The 3.6/5 average from seven reviews is the weakest owner score among the pure vitamin C products here. No study of any kind is cited.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How can a 20% vitamin C serum cost about €6?
The formula is minimal: water, ascorbic acid, a pH adjuster, a glycol, two plant extracts, a preservative and a thickener. There is no vitamin E, ferulic acid or special packaging claim.
Will it go brown?
Revox B77 publishes no stability data. Water-based L-ascorbic acid solutions are prone to oxidation, so check the colour and the period-after-opening symbol on the pack.
