Philips 3000 Series Dual Basket NA352/00

Unequal 6 + 3 litre baskets suit a main and a side; Philips publishes a complete datasheet, but at 2,750 W it is the hungriest peak draw here.

Review

What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

Philips' NA352/00 splits its 9 litres unequally: a 6-litre basket for the main and a 3-litre basket for a side. That is more practical than two equal halves if you mainly cook one large portion. The datasheet is the most complete in this ranking: 382.5 × 443.9 × 314.2 mm, 7.85 kg, 40–200 °C, a 60-minute timer, eight presets, a 0.8 m cord, dishwasher-safe parts and a two-year guarantee.

The concern is power. At 2,750 W it has the highest rated draw of the ten models, 1,000 W more than Cosori's dual basket. Wattage is a ceiling, not consumption, but a short cord and high peak draw make it a poor match for extension leads, and Philips does not publish an energy-per-batch figure that would show whether the extra power is used efficiently.

We found no independent test result for this specific model in the sources we could open, and no owner rating on the Philips page, so evidence and feedback scores are modest. Price is the strong point: Philips' own shop listed it at €125.99 against a €249.99 list price in our research.

Best for: buyers who want an uneven main-plus-side split and a fully documented machine, and who accept the high peak draw.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification8.8

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies5.5

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback6.5

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value8.2

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does 2,750 W mean high electricity bills?

Not automatically: the heater cycles once at temperature. But Philips publishes no energy-per-batch figure, so the actual consumption cannot be compared from the datasheet.

Why unequal baskets?

A 6-litre basket takes a main portion and the 3-litre one a side dish, which matches typical meals better than two equal halves.

Principles

The manufacturer makes claims.
We check what the evidence says.

Every ranking follows the same protocol: an analysis of composition and specification, verification of claims against available studies, a review of verified owner feedback, and an assessment of price against what the product delivers.
