Bosch publishes what most rivals leave out: 314 × 309 × 388 mm, 5.8 kg, a 90 cm cable, a 40–200 °C range, dishwasher-safe parts, and a window with interior light so you can check browning without pulling the drawer. For a ranking that values transparency, that is a real plus.
The 7.2-litre basket is rated at 1,800 W. OCU measured it at 1,900 g of frozen fries, which is a better gram-per-litre ratio (about 264 g per litre) than the Ninja Double Stack (about 239 g per litre) or Philips' NA221 (about 238 g per litre). In other words, Bosch's litre figure is an honest one.
Owner feedback on bosch-home.com is strong at 4.8/5 from 618 ratings, the largest rating base we saw on a manufacturer page. What is missing: a noise figure, energy consumption per batch and the composition of the non-stick coating. The maximum of 200 °C is lower than Ninja's or Cosori's, which is not a drawback for fries given the acrylamide guidance.
At €139.00 on Bosch's own shop it is not the cheapest single basket, but it is the one with the fewest unanswered questions.
