Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
A competent, well-built rotating seat that would look like a straightforward recommendation if the Graco did not exist at €121 less with exactly the same sub-scores.
ADAC graded it 2.4 overall — safety 2.1, handling 2.8, ergonomics 2.3, harmful substances 1.0 — and summarised it as "safe, but heavy". Those four numbers match the Graco Turn2Me DLX precisely.
What the extra money buys is construction. The seat uses three foam layers including Intelli-Fit memory foam, a Tri-Protect headrest, and a dedicated side-impact pod. The ISOFIX installation uses an energy-absorbing load leg rather than a plain support leg. Joie states 10.97 kg; ADAC measured 11.3 kg.
Approval is 40 to 105 cm, up to 21 kg, under R129/03, with 360° rotation and rear-facing permitted all the way to 105 cm. Like the Graco, there is no belt installation option.
Handling at 2.8 is the shared weak point of this whole rotating-seat category. Rotating mechanisms add complexity, and complexity adds ways to get installation and harnessing wrong. Given the roughly 50% misuse rate found in German field research, a 2.8 is not a footnote.
Where this seat earns its premium honestly: Joie's build quality, materials and finish are a step above the Graco, and the memory foam and energy-absorbing leg are real engineering rather than marketing. Whether that is worth €121 when the measured safety outcome is identical is a judgement about comfort and durability, not about protection.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is it worth €121 more than the Graco with identical scores?
Not for safety — the sub-scores are the same across all four categories. What you get is better materials, memory foam padding, an energy-absorbing load leg and Joie's build quality, which affects how the seat feels over four years of daily use and how well it holds up. That is a legitimate reason to spend more. It is not a safety reason, and no one should tell you it is.
