Review
What this product is
Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.
The BY 110 is an older closed-link design that Beurer still sells directly, now at €99.99 against a recommended price of €199.49. The screen is small at 2.8 inches (5.8 × 4.3 cm), the camera is swivelled by hand, and there is no app; Beurer's sheet says 'Connect product: No' and 'storage of recordings: No'.
What makes it interesting is the amount of radio data Beurer publishes. Transmission is digital on 2.4 GHz with 21 channels and a stated transmit power of 13.01 dBm, figures no other maker in this ranking gives. An ECO+ mode is described as low-radiation and energy-efficient, the display can switch off after 2, 5 or 10 minutes, and a timer alarm can be set for 2 to 5 hours. The set includes four lullabies, zoom, a temperature display, a range check with an acoustic signal and support for four cameras. Weight is 384 g and the warranty is three years.
The gap is the key metric of this ranking: Beurer speaks of a long runtime but gives no hours for the lithium-ion parent unit. Camera and screen resolution are also absent, and no encryption is mentioned. Evidence is weak. We found no independent test, and Beurer's page carries a single customer review from 2021 whose text describes a stuck power button even though it is counted as five stars. A reasonable low-cost choice for buyers who value a documented radio link over a large screen.
