What this product is

The Limas Carrier is the value pick, with one caveat: it is a half-buckle. The waist belt closes with a buckle, while the shoulder straps are tied, which Stokke describes as wrap-style. Parents who want clips everywhere should look at the full-buckle Limas Flex instead, which Stokke lists from 4 kg and one month.
Stokke publishes 3.2–15 kg from birth, organic cotton and linen fabric, machine washability and included shoulder pads, at 99 euros on its German store. That is less than half the price of the manduca XT.
Stiftung Warentest (7/2026) tested two combination carriers; press summaries report that both, including the Stokke Limas, were rated good and praise its very good adjustment to different wearers. We did not see the grade first-hand. In the 1/2020 test, before the Stokke era, a Limas carrier was rated poor because the straps slipped in the back carry, again according to a trade summary.
The gaps are large: no carrier weight, no waist-belt range, no named safety standard and no owner rating on the overview page we could open; the individual product page did not load.
