The Embrace is a first-year carrier, not an all-rounder. Ergobaby publishes 3.2–11.3 kg and 0–12 months, with an inward-facing and an outward-facing front carry and no back carry. It needs no infant insert.
The fabric is a stretchy knit of 79% polyester, 17% viscose and 4% elastane, machine washable at 30 °C in a mesh bag. Ergobaby says it adjusts from petite to 4XL and backs it with a lifetime warranty. The price on the German store was 99.90 euros.
The IHDI names the Embrace Newborn on its hip-healthy product page. It was not among the 14 products in Stiftung Warentest's 7/2026 test, so there is no independent verdict on how a newborn sits in it; the evidence score reflects that.
