Review

What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

The WR312E suits flat lawns of up to 1,200 m² in households that already own Worx PowerShare tools. Worx states a maximum lawn size of 1,200 m², 30% (17°) slopes, a 22 cm cut, 30–60 mm electric height adjustment and a Cut-to-Zero edge module. Navigation combines RTK Cloud, stereo-vision AI and V-SLAM, which Worx describes as sensor fusion for shaded areas; RTK Cloud is free for life, with no subscription and no base station.

The 4 Ah PowerShare battery charges in 80 minutes. The mower weighs 14.3 kg. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Worx's RadioLink are built in; GPS tracking (Find My Landroid) is an optional module, listed at Hornbach for €139. Worx says its FiatLux lighting lets it detect and avoid hedgehogs after sunset — a manufacturer claim not checked by any test found.

What is missing: noise, IP rating and warranty were not on the Worx page, and Worx's German shop could not be opened (403), so the €1,195 price is Hornbach's. Hornbach showed 3.3 out of 5 from only six reviews. No independent test of this model was found.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification7.5

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies4.5

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback6.2

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value8.0

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.
