Review

What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

The A 10v suits lawns of up to 1,000 m² with moderate slopes, for buyers who want connectivity costs settled up front. Stiga states 45% (24°) slopes, an 18 cm cut, 20–60 mm cutting height, four rotating blades with mulching, a 25.2 V 2.5 Ah battery, up to 70 minutes per cycle and a 60-minute charge, and 8.66 kg without the battery. Navigation uses quad-band GPS-RTK and an AI camera (Stiga Vista); Stiga says no reference station is required.

Ten years of connectivity are included and the warranty is three years — the clearest long-term cost statement in this ranking. Zone handling is generous: up to 15 zones and 80 no-go zones. A rain sensor is fitted. GPS tracking and an app lock are standard; a theft alarm is an optional in-app purchase. Stiga says the mower is designed, engineered and manufactured in Italy.

What is missing: noise, IP rating and the type of mobile connection were not on the product page, and owner ratings are only linked to Trustpilot rather than shown. No independent test was found. The €1,399 is Stiga's RRP.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification7.4

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies4.0

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback6.0

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value7.5

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.
