What this product is

Written after the analysis, from the same sources the score is built on: the manufacturer's documentation, available studies and verified owner feedback.

The A3 AWD 2000 is for steep or larger gardens, up to the 2,000 m² Dreame gives as the maximum. Its OmniSense 3.0 system combines 360° 3D LiDAR with binocular AI vision and works without wire or RTK. Dreame states 80% (38.7°) slopes, a 20 cm cutting width, 3–10 cm cutting height in 5 mm steps, a 5 Ah battery with a 54-minute charge, IPX6, 16.1 kg and ≤62.8 dB(A).

Dreame is also unusually specific about output: 1,200 m² per 24 hours in standard mode, 2,200 m² in efficient mode and 2,400 m² in fast mode — a reminder that the area rating depends on the mode chosen. Theft protection is the most extensive here: real-time GPS tracking via 4G, lift alerts and a slot for an AirTag. Three years of 4G service are included. A ‘pet-friendly’ mode for detecting animals is listed.

What is missing: the German store showed no reviews, no independent test was found, the extended-warranty terms were not spelled out and the noise figure is not described as a guaranteed sound power level. €1,599 was a reduced price against €1,999.

Component scores

Where the score
comes from.

Four components, equal weight, each on a 0–10 scale and each resting on a named source. The overall score is their mean — the full procedure is in the methodology.

  1. Composition and specification8.6

Declared composition and specification: active ingredients and their concentrations, energy classes, standards, technical parameters — and what the manufacturer leaves unsaid.

  2. Evidence and studies4.0

Verification of the manufacturer's claims against outside sources: laboratory reports, industry testing, safety data sheets, certificates and regulatory decisions.

  3. Owner feedback5.5

Analysis of verified reviews written after extended use, together with recurring fault reports for the model or series.

  4. Cost and value7.8

Price set against what the product actually delivers, plus costs incurred later — consumables, energy, servicing, subscriptions — over the lifespan typical for the category.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the Dreame A3 AWD 2000 too big for a 1,000 m² garden?

Dreame rates it for a maximum of 2,000 m² and up to 1,200 m² per 24 hours even in standard mode, so a 1,000 m² lawn is well within range. You pay for capacity you may not use.

How does the A3 protect against theft?

Dreame lists real-time GPS tracking over 4G, a lift alert and a slot for an AirTag, with three years of 4G included.
